After a goalless first 120 minutes, Manchester United have been dumped out of the Capital One Cup by Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick and Ashley Young all missed penalties in the shootout, and then the abuse started.

Meanwhile, the draw for the quarter-finals has been made and Liverpool - who beat Bournemouth on Wednesday night - will travel to Southampton.
Manchester City host Hull City, Middlesbrough play Everton and Stoke City will welcome Sheffield Wednesday.
Manchester City may have booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup following a 5-1 demolition of Crystal Palace at the Etihad, but the result pales in comparison when measured against the traumatic week that the Shaw family had to endure.
You may have heard the tragic news about Chris Shaw, a 35-year-old City fan who tragically died at the weekend following a brave battle with cancer.
The father-of-two from Droylsden, Tameside, passed away after being diagnosed with the disease just six months ago.
Man City fans decided to pay their own tribute to one of their own with this warm round of applause during the 35th minute of the match against Alan Pardew's men.

The club also deserve some credit because the Shaw family were their guests of honour for the game but one player went the extra mile to make the trip a little bit more memorable.

Take a look at Man City's Argentinian goal machine Sergio Aguero sitting beside Charlie Shaw, Chris' oldest son.
Aguero is currently unavailable for selection after suffering a hamstring injury but it's nice to see that he's still a brilliant ambassador for the club after he helped to make a grief stricken child's evening that little bit more enjoyable.

Assassins Creed

What makes the game work is the two protagonists and their interplay between each other, the setting of Victorian London is fantastic and the various side-missions (child liberation, gang strongholds, templar hunts, etc) are always exciting. I also love the rope launcher and it minimizes the slog of having the constantly climb and seek out ledges to grab onto. Is it a 9/10? By AC standards, I would say so. People who dislike the series have no reason to look sideways at it, since it does do enough different to win you over. Series fans, it's an easy purchase. Former fans who have lost interest, I think this might win you back. It improves on some of my core complaints about the series and delivers the best game in the series since AC2.
