why would anyone be interested in doing this aside from shooting a new film, it just seems out of this world that this is something people would sign up to. What next space wrestling?

The aim of the game is knock the crap out of your opponent as you both fall from 15,000 feet, but while this might sound like a recipe for an accidental death, the ‘sport’ does come with a few rules, which is somewhat reassuring.

• The flight starts at 15,000 feet.
• Participants have to pull their parachutes at 4,000 feet.
• Participants may NOT interfere with other participants trying to pull their parachutes.
• You can’t strangle other participants with their parachute cords.
• No more fighting once you hit the ground.
