Actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger has weighed in heavily on the subject of lion-killing, taking to his various social media accounts to specify that it is neither brave nor ballsy to kill a big cat.Schwarzenegger is promoting the 5ForBigCats movements which is encouraging people to donate a fiver to National Geographic's Big Cats Initiative.
Schwarzenegger, famous for his role as The Terminator, has suggested that anyone who wants to prove their courage could do so more appropriately by joining the military, protecting big cats or, most dangerous of all, fighting Ireland's own Conor McGregor.

There has been widespread disdain for the actions of Walter Palmer, an American dentist who lured Cecil, a Zimbabwean lion, out of the safety of his sanctuary in order to wound him with a bow and arrow before finishing him off a day later.
American TV host Jimmy Kimmel made an emotional plea for people to give money to Oxford's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit, which has been wildly successful. The Unit has raised over £100,000 in the last 24 hours.
